Fourteen distinct fluffy creatures sitting together on a sofa watching a vintage TV, each rendered with consistent identity and detailed fur.
Nano Banana Pro is the highest-fidelity model in Google's Nano Banana family, released in November 2025. Built on Gemini 3 Pro, it delivers the sharpest text rendering and most detailed material reproduction in the lineup. It supports 4K output, 11 aspect ratios (including auto), and up to 8 reference images at 30 MB each. The trade-off is higher latency and cost compared to the Flash-based models.
Production-quality imagery for print and packaging. Technical diagrams, infographics, and documentation with legible embedded text. Product photography requiring sharp material detail and consistent lighting. High-fidelity creative work where output quality justifies the longer generation time.
All parameters are passed in the input object of the run request.
| Parameter | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| prompt | Yes | Text description (1–10000 chars) |
| aspect_ratio | No | Output aspect ratio. Default 1:1. Supports 11 ratios including auto |
| resolution | No | Output resolution. Default 1K. Options: 1K, 2K, 4K |
| image_urls | No | Up to 8 reference images (max 30 MB each) for guided generation |
Nano Banana Pro has the sharpest text rendering in the family. If your image includes dense or small text — ingredient labels, legal disclaimers, infographic callouts — this is the model to use for the final version.
At 4K, the model renders fine textures (wood grain, fabric weave, skin pores) with noticeably more clarity. Give it enough descriptive detail to take advantage of the resolution.
Eleven options: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 4:5, 5:4, 9:16, 16:9, 21:9, and auto. The default is 1:1.
Nano Banana Pro uses Gemini 3 Pro for higher fidelity, especially in text rendering and material detail. Nano Banana 2 uses Gemini 3.1 Flash for faster generation, more aspect ratios (15 vs 11), and more reference images (14 vs 8). Choose Pro for quality, Nano Banana 2 for speed and flexibility.
1K (default), 2K, and 4K. The 4K tier has a higher price point than 1K and 2K.
